This was next-level. 🔥 This shoot was an amazing collab, and I had a blast creating several different scenarios to bring out the best in the models and the location. Every setup had its own vibe, and watching it all come to life was just pure fun!

The gritty walls, the vintage aesthetic, and these models absolutely owning the camera—it all came together perfectly. The black-and-white fits, the gold boots (seriously, look at those!), and that moody light made every shot stand out.

Behind the shot: Sonsbeek Park edition! 🌿📸

This one was extra fun because my fellow photographer @life.of.djowindah stepped in as the model! Always a cool experience working with someone who understands both sides of the lens. We played around with light, poses, and composition, and she absolutely nailed it.

For the setup: Canon + 2x Godox AD400 Pro. One key light for shape, one subtle fill to separate her from the moody background. Sonsbeek Park brought the atmosphere, and that little bit of wet pavement? Perfect for adding extra texture.

Years ago, I crossed paths with a model who left a lasting impression. Time passed, but destiny had other plans. Yesterday, the stars aligned, and we met once again. This time, it was different. A cozy, intimate setting at her home, perfect for a reunion and an incredible shoot.

With my trusty C-stand and light stand in tow, I brought along my two Godox AD400s, a 40cm parabol, and a 60cm softbox. The lighting setup was on point, ready to create magic. My go-to camera for the day was my Canon paired with the legendary 85mm F1.2 lens. The combination of the perfect setting, the right gear, and a model who knew how to work the camera set the stage for a memorable session.

As we started, the ideas flowed effortlessly. It was like time stood still. Each pose, every click of the shutter captured moments that felt both spontaneous and meticulously planned. The hours flew by, a testament to the incredible connection we shared and the creativity that was unleashed.

The first shoot of the year couldn't have been better. The planned time flew by, and that was a good thing. It meant we had an amazing time, creating something truly special.

Looking back, I can’t help but feel how far we’ve come as a team. From trying out poses and breaking the ice to nailing those dynamic, story-driven portraits—this was the spark that ignited it all.
